Passport To Patriotism. 2026. Washington, D.C.
Throughout the summer and fall of 2026, Passport to Patriotism became more than an exhibition. At the Art Museum of the Americas in Washington, D.C., it provided a setting for conversations, new relationships, and a shared appreciation for the role of art in American life.
Presented by the American Arts Conservancy in partnership with the Organization of American States and the U.S. Department of State's Office of Art in Embassies, the exhibition brought together more than thirty artists exploring the nation's history, identity, and evolving cultural landscape.
Across three special gatherings, diplomats, public officials, artists, and young professionals came together to experience the exhibition, each bringing a different perspective to the conversation.
