As the nation commemorates 250 years of independence, The American Arts Conservancy, in partnership with Art in Embassies, will present a series of curated exhibitions and cultural events throughout Washington, D.C.

This landmark celebration will highlight the role of American art as both a reflection of our national identity and a tool of global diplomacy. Through exhibitions, artist dialogues, and special programming, we will honor the diverse voices that have shaped American visual culture—and extend their stories into the next chapter of our shared history.

Programming will take place alongside the official Semiquincentennial festivities and will feature works from American artists past and present, presented in diplomatic, public, and cultural venues throughout the capital.
