Passport to Patriotism
In partnership with Art in Embassies
July 30 – October 18, 2026
An Exhibition Celebrating the American Spirit Through Art and Diplomacy
Passport to Patriotism is a museum exhibition that explores how creativity, civic identity, and cultural diplomacy shape the story of America. Presented in collaboration with the U.S. Department of State’s Art in Embassies (AIE) program, the exhibition examines the ways in which American artists, institutions, and audiences express shared ideals of freedom, unity, and progress through visual art.
Through this project, the American Arts Conservancy (AAC) works alongside AIE curators to highlight the role of American art in connecting communities and strengthening cultural understanding around the world.
Presented by The American Arts Conservancy
As commissioner and strategic partner, the American Arts Conservancy is developing and producing the exhibition’s creative and educational framework, including community partnerships that connect cultural diplomacy to classroom and civic learning.
Mission Alignment
Passport to Patriotism advances AAC’s three founding pillars:
• Diplomacy: Using art as a bridge to foster dialogue and understanding across nations
• Education: Empowering audiences with access to cultural knowledge and creative literacy
• Legacy: Preserving and promoting the works and values that define American artistic heritage
