America’s 250th Celebration

A collaborative art show held at the Art Museum of the Americas and the Organization of American States

Passport to Patriotism: A Collaborative Art Show Celebrating the Anniversary of the Signing of America's Declaration of Independence

The American Arts Conservancy is developing a major exhibition and national engagement initiative in collaboration with the Museum of the Americas at the Organization of American States (OAS) in Washington, D.C., in recognition of America’s Semiquincentennial.

The Exhibition

The exhibition will present contemporary American artists within a hemispheric and historical context, highlighting themes of identity, expression, and cultural legacy. Designed to engage diverse audiences, the project positions American art within a broader dialogue while maintaining intellectual rigor and curatorial clarity.

Public Engagement

Complementing the exhibition, AAC is developing educational programming and family-focused initiatives intended to broaden access and encourage participation nationwide. These efforts include youth engagement, classroom resources, and public-facing activations designed to extend the exhibition’s reach beyond the museum walls.
